Get ready for the ride of your life and follow the recent path of the phenomenal platinum import racing series. The crew enters the Players Run, in which cars travel from new York to California exceeding speeds of 110 MPH all the way.

The import tuning company responsible for the popular MISCHIEF takes fans of street racing on an all-access tour around the world in DYNASTY, the fifth installment of the series. Several SUV’s (including the Hummer H1, Expedition, and Infiniti FX35) battle it out in the Hollister Hills off-road park, while the DTMPowerM3 takes the boys from New York City to the West Coast. With several obstacles (including weather, the law, and no windows or air conditioning), the drivers must sweat it out if they want to win the Players Run. Additional features include: the “Reckless Chapter,” the Woodward Dream Cruise, street racing in Japan, The SEMA show in Las Vegas, and several run-ins with local law enforcement.

TRIVIA BY DUSTIN

1. The first day of the Players Run 2 sent us from NYC to the Falls back down to Ohio. That was a shit load of driving in one day. Of course Dado drove the whole way while I filmed. I’ve never driven the turbo M3 before.

The original plan for the Players Run 2 was to take a new Mercedes CL600. The Players Run organizer set it up for us. At the very last minute, the car was unavailable. The M3 wasn’t really tuned up so we decided to take Dado’s 03 Audi A4 Avant. We got about 2 miles from our house when Dado made a U-turn and we went back home to grab the M3. We took the M3 to our friend Roger’s apartment and did an oil change and made sure all the fluids levels were in check.

We got to the start line 4 hours before the rally started. We never slept. I was so physically exhausted. I was so tired, I feel asleep in the car right after we left Naiagra Falls while Dado raced Adrian at speeds over 160mph. Remember that the car had no door windows and there was constant heat blowing in our faces. I was that tired.

2. We were only allowed to show 15mins. of Players Run footage in Dynasty. That’s why there was those long interviews so we could drag out the 2 PR chapters.

3. It was shot in Japan. The guys who shot the footage where US military guys. The Supra was from the US. I failed to mention in Dynasty that the guys who were apart of that car club were US soldiers. I think that would have made that chapter a little more interesting since the quality of the footage was not that great.

4. We didn’t have time to set up the camera system on the M3 for the Players Run 2 in Dynasty. The original plan when Dado and I went on the PR2 was to drive a CL600 that was provided by the organizer. The M3 wasn’t tuned properly for the rally. The day before the start, the organizer gave our CL to someone else. We then planned on taking Dado’s 03 Audi A4 wagon. We got about 2 miles from our house in the packed Audi before Dado made a U-turn to return home and grab the M3. This would be the first time that we had a high-powered car to compete against these exotics. We had to bring the M3.

We changed the oil and rotated the tires and then headed to NYC to start the PR2. We got there about 3 hours before the start of the rally and ended up not sleeping at all. That’s why we never used the Hoyt cameras. We will use them more in M6.

5. A friend owned the F-150. I was too scared to run into the snow pile so Dado took over. I sat in the back afraid that the airbags would pop out. We didn’t know what was under that snow pile. We did over $3,000 is damage that I actually paid for!

6. They were fans of the movie series and they both died in a tragic car accident that didn’t involve crazy driving or street racing. There friend told me about it and I dedicated the movie to them. I’ve never met them or the person who contacted me.

7. On the second Players Run, Dado and I were chasing Adrian at speeds over 160 through New York state. I turned off the camera to change tapes and missed Adrian hitting a crow at 170! He hit it so hard that half of it got lodged in the windshield and the other half shot up over 30 feet in the air and over a overpass! Dado had to swerve from hitting the half of the bird when it came down to the ground. I was so pissed that I missed that shot!
